Collection Stewardship

Collection stewardship is not simply a matter of cataloguing what is held. It requires understanding what is significant, what is at risk, what condition it is in, and what decisions are required to ensure it survives.

Endangered Heritage provides independent collection assessment, documentation and management planning for institutions that need to make defensible decisions about their holdings. Every collection assessment begins with an understanding of the institution's obligations, resources and decision-making context. We do not produce reports for their own sake.
