About This Program

Ongoing collection care and support — just like having a conservator on staff.

The COR™ Small to Medium Museum program gives smaller institutions access to the highest level of scientific conservation advice — in good times and bad. The depth of expertise normally available only to major national institutions, structured into a simple annual membership.

Running a collection means carrying the pressures of public access, preservation science, community expectations and operational demands simultaneously. It is an enormous load — often expected to manage itself. This program ensures it doesn't have to.

Our Director has won multiple awards for excellence in heritage conservation and brings an extensive network of business advisors, logistics providers, insurance brokers and sector specialists who can be engaged with advance notice.

What's Included

Eight pillars of ongoing institutional support.

Monthly Expert Seminars

Online professional development by qualified conservators with decades of experience. Build institutional baseline knowledge — select the topics that matter most to your collection each year.

Level 2 & 3

Private Strategic Meetings

One-on-one discussions with our Director and appointed specialists on topics entirely determined by your organisation. Agenda set by you, one month in advance. Fully recorded and provided after.

Crisis Support — 24/7

A direct line to our team at any hour when fire, flood, mould or insect infestation strikes. Our Director is a member of the international ICORP committee and holds CEnvP certification from EIANZ.

Intake Fee Waived

The standard intake fee for conservation is waived for all members. Freezer treatment for textiles is included. Free quoting on all items — excluding large technology such as vehicles or train carriages.

Freight & Logistics

We manage transport, crating and containment for items travelling to our Canberra conservation lab. Project management is included in membership. Carrier fees billed separately via International Art Services.

Iconic Conservation

Nominate up to 3 artefacts to our corporate sponsorship register. If selected, we organise delivery, full conservation by our team, and return — funded by a corporate sponsor, at no cost to you.

Member Discounts

Scaled discounts on digitising, workshops at Endangered Heritage, and on-site workshops at your institution. Discount level increases with your membership tier — 10%, 15%, or 20%.

Networking Events

Two in-person events per year at our Canberra lab. As our network grows, we are expanding to regional events to connect you with nearby organisations, service providers and potential collaborators.

Level 2 & 3 — Private Meetings

Strategic discussions led entirely by your organisation's needs.

Asset management and risk assessment are conservation. The biggest single risk to any collection is reallocation of funds — and your institution must get this right. These discussions are designed to look at whole-of-organisational needs.

Your agenda, your topic

Private Teams meetings are entirely determined by your organisation. Arrange a topic and agenda one month in advance and our Director will appoint the right specialists for the discussion.

Full specialist network

Endangered Heritage brings business advisors, logistics providers, insurance brokers and sector specialists. With advance notice, we ensure every corner of your institutional needs is covered.

Structured and recorded

1.5-hour sessions with a short intermission. A full recording is provided to your team — a permanent resource for onboarding, staff development, and institutional memory.
