Privacy Policy

Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Endangered Heritage and Pearce Cultural Continuity Designers (we, us or our), ABN 25 106 266 639. We provide conservation, collection-care, heritage-risk, training and advisory services. We are committed to handling personal information openly and responsibly.
Information we collect
We may collect contact and identity information (including name, email, phone number, role and organisation); enquiry, project and collection information you choose to provide; COR™ membership, seminar, workshop and portal-account information; correspondence; and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website and portal. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for an engagement and we have asked for it.
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you contact us, request a proposal, apply for COR™ access, register for an event, create or use a portal account, communicate with us, or otherwise provide information. We may also receive information from an organisation that authorises your access to its COR™ account, or from professional advisers involved in an engagement.
Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries; assess, quote for and deliver services; administer memberships, events, recordings and portal access; communicate about an existing relationship; maintain records; protect our people, clients, systems and property; meet legal obligations; and improve our services. We only use information for direct marketing where permitted by law and provide an unsubscribe option where required.
Disclosure and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to staff, professional advisers, insurers, IT, email, hosting, video-conferencing, storage and payment providers, and contractors who need it to assist us. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, to protect safety, or in connection with a genuine business restructure. Some providers may store or process information outside Australia; where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and protect the information.
COR™ portal, events and recordings
Portal access is controlled through individual accounts. Organisation administrators are responsible for authorising their staff and keeping account details current. Seminar registrations, attendance, messages and recording access may be recorded to administer the program. Recordings and event materials are provided for authorised participants only and must not be copied, shared, downloaded, republished or used outside the permitted purpose without our written approval.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, our business records, legal obligations, insurance, dispute resolution and enforcement, then delete or de-identify it where practicable.
Cookies and external services
The website may use essential technical features needed for security, navigation and session management. Third-party services you choose to use, including video, map, email or social platforms, operate under their own privacy policies. Their content, cookies and data practices are not controlled by us.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask for access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse a request only where permitted by law, explaining the reason where appropriate. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
