The Challenge
Endangered Heritage provides specialist conservation for contemporary Indigenous art, archaeological collections and culturally significant objects from Australia and around the world. Our experience spans bark paintings, fibre-based cultural materials, basketry, textiles, organic artefacts, excavated materials and mixed-media contemporary Indigenous artworks.

Whether preserving an important investment in contemporary Aboriginal art or stabilising archaeological material for research and interpretation, every treatment is guided by conservation science, respect for cultural values and an understanding of how traditional and modern materials age over time.
