Emma Whitbread

Biologist and trainee textile conservator

Emma is our trainee textiles conservator with a specialty knowledge of proteins, training to use science based techniques to care for textile objects.Emma is a Bachelor of Science (BSc) graduate with a minor in biology and has a talent and passion for working with textiles. She is training with us to use scientific conservation techniques to care for textile objects. With us at Endangered Heritage, she aspires to do more research into protein based fibres and dye chemistry.
