Rhiannon Baldwin
Rhiannon Baldwin is a recent graduate from the University of Canberra.
She studied chemistry and has been developing our dye programme. This
allows us to accurately and precisely colour match silk for use in
repairs.
Rhiannon is also responsible for tracking the progress of treatments
and taking digital images so a CD-rom can be created containing before
and after images of the item undergoing treatment, which is valuable
asset if any further treatments are required.
Rhiannon also manages the freezer program, which is our quarantining
and insect eradication treatment. Items are carefully contained and
frozen at very low temperatures to kill all insects and eggs. This
treatment is carried out on all items before going in our store. Our
insect eradication program is perfect for annual treatment of furs
and vulnerable organic materials.
